I have lived in Summerfield a little over a year now the first time I had an issue with the post office was in October of last year around my birthday. The carrier refused to deliver a package because it was too big to fit in the mail box. I went to the post office and was told that's just how it was. Now there comes the latest issue. 5 packages all showing delivered but never received. The carrier admitted to delivering the 5 items to the wrong address. I was told he would retrieve them but I still 3 days later have no packages. The post office stated that its my lose because the person has worked for the post office a long time and its my word verses theirs. I have filed and am hoping that the issue can be resolved. Very frustrated and dissatisfied.
Another bad review and if I could leave negative stars I would. This is for the Summerfield post office carriers. They will not bring packages to the house. They leave them in my driveway and I have no idea they are there. I don't always check my mail and don't go down my driveway every day. So yesterday when a package was delivered I didn't know. This morning I happened to go out and there it was, sitting on my fence. Soaked from light rain we had. I guess I should be thankful there wasn't a wind to knock it off! Even if they bring it up to the house at least I'd know it was there. They don't have to knock on the door. the lady is very nice but please! Do not leave packages on the fence in the middle of my driveway.
We have a great carrier--wish I remembered her name. She always brings packages to our door and is most friendly. We live in Del Webb.
They never answer their phone. Pathetic place of business. Needs to be closed permanently.
If I could give a negative feedback I would. My postal delivery person delivered a package to my house in the rain, left if on the front porch, which had no cover from the rain, didn't knock on the door to let us know she delivered it. When I called to complain, her supervisor supported her decision, and stated "I don't know what went on as I was on a boat Saturday and not here". I will never use this poor excuse for a delivery service again.
